  • Most importantly, check out our insiders’ guide to family day and graduation.  It has a thorough rundown of the events and considerations.
  • You will spend several hours outside. Dress warmly in the winter and stay hydrated. I can’t overstress this. Bring snacks to Marine Officer Candidate School Graduation.
  • Make meal reservations. The surrounding area gets overwhelmed with families around OCS graduation.
  • Take pictures and video. Ask your candidate if they would like pictures with their platoon staff.

The location of graduation and commissioning change based on the season and availability of base buildings.
